About the company

A software engineering company, built on practice

IT Smart Vision is a software engineering company built around more than two decades of practical technology and domain experience. The company itself has been established for 14 years.

Experience → understanding → engineering → delivery → support

Most software problems presented to us are not really software problems at first. They are operational problems that software has been asked to solve — a reception desk that cannot see what the clinic already knows, a stock figure that three departments each calculate differently, a report that takes two days to assemble by hand.

So the work starts before the architecture does. We spend time understanding how the organisation actually runs: who does what, what the exceptions are, where the paper still lives, and which rules are real versus which are habit. That understanding is what makes the resulting system usable rather than merely correct.

From there the engineering follows normally — architecture, build, integration, testing, deployment. What is less normal is what happens afterwards. Systems of this kind live for years. Regulations change, departments reorganise, data grows, devices are replaced. We stay with the systems we build, because the work is not finished when the software is delivered.

That sequence — experience, understanding, engineering, delivery, support — is the whole of how we work. We do not just develop software. We understand the operational environment the software has to work in.

Brand heritage

Fourteen years under one name

The original IT Smart Vision wordmark carried the company through its first decade and a half. The identity has been refreshed, but the position it represented has not changed: technology in service of how organisations actually operate.

How the company has developed

  1. 20+ years

    Team and domain experience

Combined practical experience across software engineering, enterprise systems, security, healthcare technology and large-scale data work — accumulated before and throughout the life of the company.

  2. 14 years

    IT Smart Vision established

The company has operated for fourteen years, developing long-running relationships with organisations across several sectors rather than one-off project work.

  3. 500+ clients

    Growth across Egypt

More than five hundred clients served across the country, spanning healthcare, retail, education, finance, manufacturing, HR and the public sector.

  4. Cairo · Minya

    Two operating bases

A presence in Cairo and in Upper Egypt, allowing close working relationships with clients outside the capital as well as inside it.

  5. Philippines

    International work

Clients and partners in the Philippines, demonstrating the ability to deliver and support systems across time zones.

  6. Odoo Partner

    Formal partnership

An Odoo partnership supporting ERP implementation, customisation and integration work for business management systems.

How an engagement runs

The sequence is deliberately unglamorous. It is designed to remove surprises rather than to look impressive in a proposal.

  1. 01

    Understand

We map the current process as it genuinely operates — including the parts that are not written down anywhere.

  2. 02

    Define

Scope, workflows, data model, integrations and constraints are agreed explicitly before build, including what is deliberately out of scope.

  3. 03

    Engineer

Architecture and implementation, with security, permissions and data design settled early rather than retrofitted.

  4. 04

    Integrate

Connection to devices, third-party platforms, regulatory endpoints and existing systems — usually the hardest part of the work.

  5. 05

    Deliver

Deployment, migration, training and the transition period where the old process and the new one briefly run together.

  6. 06

    Support

Ongoing maintenance, adjustment and extension as the organisation, regulation and data change.

What we hold to

  • Say what is true

If a requirement is a bad idea, or a timeline is unrealistic, or a feature will cost more than it returns, we say so before the work starts rather than after.

  • Take custody seriously

We frequently hold clinical, financial and personal data. Access control and cryptography are treated as core engineering, not compliance paperwork.

  • Build things that connect

Isolated systems create work. We design for integration with what the organisation already runs.

  • Stay past delivery

A system that no one maintains degrades. We plan for the years after launch, not only the months before it.
